A WiFi QR code stores your network name, password and security type. When a guest scans it, their phone offers to join the network automatically — no more reading a long password off a sticky note.

Where to use it

  • Cafés, restaurants and bars offering guest Wi-Fi
  • Hotels, Airbnbs and holiday rentals
  • Offices and co-working spaces for visitors
  • Home — a framed card by the door for guests

How to make one

  1. Enter your network details. Type your Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password, and choose the security type (usually WPA/WPA2).
  2. Customize (optional). Match your brand colors or add a logo so it looks at home on your signage.
  3. Download and display. Print the PNG or SVG on a card or sticker and place it near the router or reception.

Frequently asked questions

Which phones support WiFi QR codes?

iPhones on iOS 11+ and most Android phones on Android 10+ can join a network by scanning the code with the camera.

Is my Wi-Fi password safe?

The password is encoded in the standard WIFI format that phones understand. Only share the code with people you would give the password to — anyone who scans it can connect.

Does it work with hidden networks?

Yes. There is a “hidden network” option so the code still connects to SSIDs that are not broadcast.
